Supernatural Headline News - 26 July Edition

I thought, before the epicness of Comic-Con, I'd do a quick wrap up of what's been happening in Supernaturaland this week!


Of course, last week, we had the epicness of the TCAs! Where everyone was really rather chatty!

We found out stuff about Sam's search for Dean, Dean's Demony tendencies and how freakin' awesome they sound, Castiel's lost grace, Crowley's o-oh moment about Dean, what's in store with the 200th episode (a-hem...musical-ish!). I mean, even Jeremy Carver was talking!

There were awesome photos...

Video interviews with Jensen and Jared, selfies with fans and sooooooo much more! Today, Supernatural was represented as part of the CW's showing at the TCAs - that's the Television Critics Association press tour. 

Jensen, Jared and Jeremy Carver took to the stage to answer questions from the press about the show and the show's future and future storylines.

In a nutshell, it's not going anywhere...so for all those people who seem to think that season 10 is the last season of Supernatural...RELAX!

Supernatural Comic-Con 2014 Bag

Another Comic-Con, another giant Supernatural bag! Seriously, they're so big you can fit a small person in them (I know, because I've tried!)

This year's design is a little different. It's a salt and burn!

Pretty sweet huh? Look at that coffee! I want someone to make a coffee like that for me! (Except I gave it up...). And is that pie in the corner there under the WB logo?! Awesome. (Do I say awesome too much?) And what would Supernatural be with a few droplets of blood!

It's a very cool design.

Supernatural Headline News - 13 July 2014

It's time for another week of Supernatural news! And this week was a big one, because, the show started shooting season 10!


On Tuesday July 8, cameras rolled on what will be the show's 10th season. This will include them hitting their 200th episode, which will be 10x05 and will be shooting towards the end of August.

This week, they were shooting 10x03, with Jensen Ackles at the helm as director! The title of this episode, may be "Soul Survivor".

And to celebrate, the fans got a World Wide Trend going on Twitter!

All the regular cast were on board for the first episode back with Mark, Misha and Jared all showing up for duty.

Misha seemed to be causing the director a tiny bit of trouble, but the director wasn't taking any crap!

Another cast member was on set, a new one! 

Raquel Riskin has been cast as the recurring character, Dar. This may be the Scottish character we heard about recently, or it may not be.

The 2014 Comic-Con Special includes exclusive content on popular Warner Bros. shows, including Person of Interest, The Big Bang Theory, The 100, The Originals and Childrens Hospital. In addition, the issue previews several upcoming series, including The CW's iZombie and Adult Swim's Mike Tyson Mysteries. There is also an exclusive Flash comic created by DC Entertainment and written by series executive producers Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti with DC chief creative officer Geoff Johns, plus a Supernatural-themed pull-out poster and more.

I absolutely love the cover!  Gorgeousness abounds! Boy howdy do the boys look epically beautiful. Though Dean's eyes look the wrong colour, (damn you photoshop) and I feel like it should be Sam giving Dean the shifty eye given the circumstances! It kind of nostalgically reminds me of these old promo pics!

Gosh they've grown up pretty... And their hair! And their scruff!

Anyhoo...objectification aside...it's so wonderful that they get these covers every year now! I can't wait to get my hands on this one!

SPOILERS SWEETIES! Nugget from Supernatural episode 10.02!

Well, well, well... I have a feeling this is going to be SMOKIN' HOT!

Wait, let me give you the spoiler... this is from Matt Mitovich at TV|Line:

Hi, Matt! I’m curious to know about the Demon Dean personality through the first half of Supernatural Season 10. —Levana
Indeed, Dean has a bit of the devil in him — as will be evidenced by an intense fling he has in the second episode back, with a tough but sympathetic roadhouse cocktail waitress named Ann Marie.

So...here's my question, and it's an important one...do you think sexed up Demon Dean will be, um, how do I put this for polite company, err, different with the ladies than human Dean?  

I've always marvelled at how soft and gentle Dean is when he, um, how do I put this for polite company, err, gets a bit. Here Dean is, all gruff and tough, love 'em and leave 'em, flirty and naughty exterior, but he's super soft and gentle in, um, well, let's just say it like Dean would, in the sack! Where as Sam, whom you think would be like that, is all toss them around the room! 

I've always thought it was interesting that the brother's approach to having the sex seems to be opposite of what you'd imagine they'd be like. I will never get over how Dean never lost eye contact with Anna when he peeled off her jeans, or how he linked fingers with the Amazon chick... *swoon*

So will Demon Dean be different? "Intense fling" sounds super awesome by the way! And also could imply, as many of us have been thinking, that Dean will be a demon Cain adjacent rather than say, Crowley adjacent and have his humanity in someways intact, just as Cain has, lending his predicament towards being an epic battle within himself, between his remaining Deanness and his new demonness. Which will be heartbreakingly tragic and amazeballs all in one.

Anyway, this spoiler is highly important! For reasons.
