I knew it!

This was totally my prediction as to how season 10 would kick off!

Here is the first teaser description  for Supernatural Season 10.


BEWARE...AHEAD BE SPOILERSSSSSSSSSS OF EPIC PROPORTIONS!

"Season 10 begins with Sam’s frantic search for his missing brother, who is gone without a trace. The road to recovering the wayward Dean takes Sam down dark paths, with consequences that will shake the boys to their core. Meanwhile, Castiel has to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of Metatron’s campaign. With his grace failing and rogue angels still on the loose, Cass will face the ticking clock of his own mortality as all-new threats emerge to once again push all of our heroes to their limits."

Supernatural Comic-Con 2014 Collectors TV Guide Cover.

We're getting another TV Guide cover!

As in the past few years at Comic-Con, Supernatural will feature on a special edition cover of TV Guide magazine!

This year we will be sharing a cover with The Following, so one side with be Supernatural and one side with be The Following.

The cover goes on sale July 22.

Make sure you grab one fast as they always sell out!

Supernatural Season 10 gets underway!

DATELINE: TUESDAY JULY 8

A momentous day for the cast and crew of Supernatural and fans of the show all over the world, the first day of filming Supernatural Season 10!

We know Jensen was on set...because he was directing! There were a tonne of selfies with Jared from Austin airport (one of which, he was still wearing his sling!), so Jared had headed back to Vancouver and later tweeted that he'd been on set that day. The svelte Mark Sheppard had also tweeted that he was back in Vancouver and Mr Collins was tweeting up a storm all morning and probably working up his dastardly plans to get revenge on Jensen's pie in the face prank!

The crew excitedly tweeted about getting back to work to make the best show out there...

Location manager Russ kicked it off...

Supernatural Headline News - 7 July 2014

So what happened this past week in the world of Supernatural?

Well the big news was all about Comic-Con!

Yes, it was finally announced that Supernatural will be at Comic-Con again this year, talking the coming season. Jensen, Jared, Misha and Mark have been confirmed along with Jeremy Carver, but don't be surprised if more of the writing/executive producer team attend.

Supernatural will, once again, be in the largest venue, Hall H, with their panel being at 10am on Sunday July 27. Expect them to most likely preview a clip from the first episode shot, which will be episode 3 directed by Jensen and part of the season 9 gag reel.

I'll keep you up to date as more about Comic-Con is revealed, like TV Guide covers, Comic-Con bags and whether we will get the guys at the Nerd HQ panel again this year...fingers crossed!

The other really big news was that production got back into full swing. With shooting starting tomorrow, on July 8, the team in Vancouver were busy with tech scouts and concept meetings! All with their first director of the season, Jensen Ackles who was the victim of the infamous lunch prank!

And Russ teased us with tweets from the first concept meeting.

Argh! Such a script-tease!

Jim also put the kibosh to a persistent rumour about the season premiere episode.

There's was also news on the convention front, with the first writer/executive producer confirmed for a Supernatural fan convention since Kripke attended one in 2008!

Yes, Adam Glass, writer on the show since season 6 and executive producer, will be attending Vancon, and this time, in an official capacity as a convention guest! Adam excitedly tweeted out the information during the week.

Hopefully this will be the beginning of getting more of the creative, behind the scenes team as regular convention guests!


And though this isn't strictly news... has everyone seen Mark Sheppard lately?!

Looks like Crowley will be getting a new wardrobe! Wowzers!

Supernatural Heads to San Diego Comic-Con 2014

Hello announcement we've all been waiting for!

WE'RE GOING TO COMIC-CON!

Supernatural are confirmed for Comic-Con 2014. And as in the past couple of years, we will be dominating, oh, I mean taking over, wait, what I mean is holding our panel in Hall H. Hall H is the largest venue at Comic-Con.

The cast seem pretty excited too!

Jason Fischer, who is a production coordinator on the show in Vancouver, posted a cool pic on his twitter today, showing the updated production artwork for season 10.

This is the artwork that's featured on the production packs/script covers etc. for each episode.

The Season 10 premiere, tentatively titled “Soul Survivor,” will introduce the new recurring role of Rowena, a tough but elegant woman who will stop at nothing to reclaim her power base. Here’s the interesting part: Actresses who have or can perfect a Scottish accent are preferred. Hmm…


So Scottish... Is this person in any way connected to the MacLeods? And what is she...what's her power base? Why do we have to wait until October to find out! What are your theories about who Rowena is? Hit me up in the comments!
