The Light on Spoilers, Heavy on Squee Preview of Wayward Daughters....I mean Supernatural 11x12 “Don’t You Forget About Me”

Well you asked for it, and you got it! The Wayward Daughters! Okay...not really. But we are getting Jody, Claire and Alex Annie Alexis Ann - heh..otherwise known as Alex! 3 kickass chicks and a couple of kickass guys, sounds fan-freakin'-kickass-tastic!

So where are we?



THEN

Godamn it all to hell Dean finally told someone about his crazy mixed up Darkness thing and he went and told the Prince of Darkness himself! Okay, he didn't know it of course, BUT GOD DAMN (literally) Lucifer now has way too much information, and apparently a key to the bunker and that all sucks ASSSS! And is epically creepy.

In other news, Sam cleared his conscience and apologised to Dean for not continuing to search for a way to bring Dean back from Purgatory...except, Dean wouldn't hear a word of it because he'd already forgiven Sam, and said.... "All that matters now, all that's ever mattered is that we're together, so shut up and drink your beer [I love you, Sammy.]"

NOW

THE GIRLS ARE BACK IN TOWN, THE GIRLS ARE BACK IN TOWN...
(and the boys get a home cooked meal!)

Awwww are the boys given some left overs to take home?

Okie dokie...here's the synopsis...


SUPERNATURAL “Don’t You Forget About Me”

KIM RHODES RETURNS AS SHERIFF JODY MILLS — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) drop in on Jody Mills (guest star Kim Rhodes), Claire (guest star Kathryn Newton) and Alex (guest star Katherine Ramdine) after receiving a panicked phone call from Claire. She believes the recent murders in town are supernatural and wants the boys’ help. However, Sheriff Mills tells Sam and Dean that Claire has been getting into trouble lately as she’s been attacking normal people and accusing them of being monsters. Stefan Pleszczynski directed the episode written by Nancy Won (#1112). 

This is Nancy's 2nd episode - she also wrote, Thin Lizzy. This is Stefan's 3rd episode, he directed Alex, Annie, Alexis, Ann and The Werther Project.

It's funny, I remember when the synopsis for this episode first dropped and everyone was confused (and maybe a tad ragey) that there was no mention of Cas...because obviously if Claire was involved you'd think Cas would be involved somehow too! But now we know why! Because Cas is LUCIFER! So I truly hope he's not involved and kept as far away from Claire as possible!

Anyway, let's look at the promo!

The dinner thing is going to kill me. I love the idea of the boys getting a lovely home cooked meal! It makes my heart glad!

So Claire's been hunting...well that's not at all surprising, seeing as when we last saw her she had an angel sword stashed in her bag!

I totally adore Jody, and I'm excited to see Alex again, and excited to get a bit of a look at how the ladies are going, because I have wondered. It'll be great to catch up with them and hear about their lives together.

And the boys in those coats ... GQ mofos! Let's just take a moment to appreciate them both...

RIDICULOUS!

I may need to see that again....

*whispers*

Okay! EW got the exclusive sneak peek this week...RHYME FOR THE WIN! And here it is! 

Did I mention I love Jody? Butt dial! Heee! How many chickens do you think Dean could eat? OMG I LOVE THE WHOLE JODY COOKING DINNER FOR THEM THING. I love Jody. Did I mention that I love Jody? Because I love Jody. Just thought I'd mention that.

This is what Kim had to say about that dinner scene in an interview with EW...

“My favorite thing I have ever shot in my life was the dinner scene with this warped, weird, f—ed up, loving family,” Rhodes reveals. “This is what family looks like, and so when Sam and Dean step in, it’s the final piece of this puzzle that makes it all start to spin.”

Remember when Claire tried to have Dean killed? I love that he's kind of taken her under his wing a little bit. Dean with younger people is just amazeballs (and with older people, and with people his own age....). (He looks weirdly youthful in this photo!)


Now... the Carver did not grace us with his presence last week...so my preview was just left with an empty X! Bastard! Who knows what will happen this week...but know that if the big man decides to non-tease us in his non-spoiler, really give us nothing way...you will find it below!
