Spoilers Sweeties! Official Synopsis for Supernatural 10x15 "The Things They Carried"

As we suffer through a stinking mini-hiatus, at least we get something to mull over and tease us for the next episode!

Here's the synopsis...remember, it's going to be on a Wednesday (or Thursday if you're me!)

Supernatural - Episode 10.15 - The Things They Carried

COLE PAYS A VISIT TO THE WINCHESTERS — Despite Dean’s (Jensen Ackles) directive to forget about looking for a cure for the Mark of Cain, Sam (Jared Padalecki) continues to do research. Dean suspects Sam is hiding something but decides to focus on a new murder case where they run into Cole (guest star Travis Aaron Wade). The three team up and learn a Khan worm is infecting men and turning them into murderers. Unfortunately, the worm makes it’s way into Cole. John Badham directed this episode written by Jenny Klein (#1015). Original airdate 3/18/2015.

"The Things They Carry" sounds like the companion to "The Things We Left Behind". Everyone in this show carries a buttload of stuff!

KHAN WORM???? Is this left over from Eve's visit? That was the nasty thing in season six's "...And Then There Were None" that got into Dean, Bobby and Grandpa Campbell. And please don't tell me they kill Cole! I like Cole! Which probably means he's curtains! And go Sammy! Though like Charlie said, dudes, dudes, secrets are bad. AND IF THEY HAVEN'T FIGURED THAT ONE OUT BY NOW! Guh! But we all knew Sammy was going to do whatever he needs to do to try and find a way to help Dean, even if Dean is intent on just getting on with life as best and for as long as he can. I like that it sounds like Dean doesn't confront Sam about his possible late night researchy activities...let's hope this new found way of approaching each other without defensive anger and judgement, holds! Bahahahaha! Ooops, did I just laugh out loud? No really, I hope it does hold because I like the brothers talking, and respecting each other, and supporting each other and all that bromenty stuff...I don't want them all yelly and not trusty again...though I've been watching this show for 10 years, so you know...I ain't that stooooopid!

So...one week down, three weeks to wait! BUT I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

What are your thoughts? Let's kill some time. Throw some theories my way!

  1. Has it only been ONE week?! Waaaah, *dies*

Just kidding! I am surviving although would need some happy boost right about now. Have tried re-watching some of the humorous episodes but still I think it won't help until new episode is upon us.

I still have nightmares about the Cambells and Rufus so my hair on the back of my neck rose from that description. The worm and Cole in same episode? I am climbing on walls here. I really, really, REALLY don't want him to die. I want him to stick around! Do you hear me show? Stop killing your quest stars! *sobs*

Anyway, nice preview and keeping thumbs up for Dean, Sam and Cole. Jensen's Purgatory selfie didn't help either. That has lift up some speculation too.

  2. Hey, the Khan worm & Cole both in the same episode! Looking forward to it. I sure hope Cole doesn't die, I still cry thinking that Rufus died the last time that damn worm made an appearance. Now, I was under the impression that all the nasty things that Eve created disappeared with her. So, my question is, do you all think it's going to be the same kind of worm or something new? Or am I way off base here?

Now on to the really good stuff. Sam doing what he does best and trying to find a cure for the MoC even though Dean told him to let it go. I love how neither one listens to his brother's wishes! :) Good for you Sam, I wouldn't stop either. And John Badham directing, that's a big plus in my book.

  3. I dont think it a far reach if one of eves little experiments survived..

As for sam not stopping...i say hallelujah.....

One thing ive learned over the years is that in his past life dean had to of been a woman...lol.....because with dean no really means yes. All these years sam has shown his love to his brother by abiding his wishes no matter how much it killed sam to do it....in season 8, sam abides deans wishes once again when he keeps the promise they made not to bring each other back...sam believed dean died and thus broke and ran from the life. As broken as he was he kept a promise....then when dean comes back his displaced anger at himself for leaving cas is placed on his brother and sam is left feeling he failed dean.....so lesson here...when dean says no, dont go searching for a wY to save me....hes really saying..sam, please help...

So yay for sam for finally getting it when it comes to dean and for doing what he wants for a change....sams perseverence and faith has been deans source of strength for years now....sam aint stooping now....and in truth dean doesnt want him to no matter how much he moans and groans...actually, ive always believed that the more dean tells sam no, the more he reaaly means yes. Its deans way of getting confirmation that sam truly loves him like he does sam....

What i think dean will come to understand after all this,,is that sam abibding deans wishes, keeping their promise and letting go even if it killed sam..is just as strong a love dean has when he breaks those promises....accaptan e and understanding...chuck bless season 10....about time😃

  4. The return of the kahn worm! Yeah! Was wondering if we'd see that nasty little bugger again. And Cole too! Was hoping for another Cole spotting as well. So, does Cole die or not...hmm...does Dean have to kill him...feeding the Mark and pushing him further dark side, or does SPN pull a 180 and let Cole live! LOL . And I suspect Sam is gonna hid something at some point, he's determined like no time ever before to save his brother...and with Dean not going for the whole saving thing right now, Sam's gonna have to pull out all the stops to figure this one out.
